The HHS Select Chamber Choir is a highly competitive auditioned ensemble which excels in many different vocal genres. Rooted in 30 years of history, Select is traditionally a performing arts course which travels, tours, competes, and gives back to the community through volunteering and charity concerts.

Coffee House serves as the main fundraiser for the Select Chorus through its ticket sales, raffles, and sponsorships. All profit raised goes directly back to the students in order to help cover the expenses for their annual trip. If you are interested in sponsoring a student and would like more information on how to do so, please contact the director at elizabeth.evans@sumnerschools.org.

Every year the Select Choir takes a performance trip for either competition or simply for performance experience. These trips are incredible experiences that the students will remember forever. This year the Select Choir will travel to compete in Festival Disney March 14-18, 2019. This performance will also offer the students the opportunity to work with incredible clinicians. Our biggest fundraising opportunity for students to attend this trip is our spring coffee house. Please see the bottom of the page for more details.


WE HAVE BIG NEWS! For the 2019-2020 trip we have been invited to participate in the London International Choral Festival! This will be a once in a lifetime opportunity that will involve our current students as well as any alumni who are interested in attending. We will tour the many sights in London and the surrounding, perform in cathedrals, and participate in a mass choir director by the director of Westminster Abbey. If you would like more information on this incredible opportunity please email me at Elizabeth.Evans@sumnerschools.org. The first trip payment is $200 due on December 15.
